Digital career development platform for black and ethnically-diverse professionals unveils exclusive mentor and STRETCH plus features

Career Masterclass, champion of career development for ethnically-diverse professionals and under-represented groups, which currently has a community of 11,000 worldwide, has today announced the launch of its upgraded platform, which offers a superior and personalised experience, increasing the support available to its users, providing them with the tools they need to propel their careers forward.

The new platform, which saw a six-figure sum dedicated to its development, combines existing resources with brand new features to further help Career Masterclass users develop in their chosen careers, overcome challenges, and manage transitions when they happen. Career Masterclass will also continue to host a wide range of content and tools, from advice to help individuals apply for new job opportunities or succeed in securing promotions, through to unprecedented access to industry experts sharing their invaluable knowledge and lessons learnt during their own careers.

Upon registration, professionals using the new Career Masterclass platform will be asked to complete a detailed and intuitive career assessment, describing where they are in their journey, as well as outlining their future goals and aspirations. Based on a user’s response, the cutting-edge software will recommend content, ranging from live monthly events and masterclasses, through to articles and workbooks required to pursue personal targets and succeed in reaching career goals. The recommended list will display as a personalised dashboard, individually curated to help professionals navigate their careers and attain new heights as they develop.

For the first time ever, professionals using the platform will now be offered exclusive mentor matching. Based on the user’s information on the career milestone that they are currently experiencing, they will be matched with a mentor who has experienced a similar challenge and successfully navigated it, further advancing their career. In addition to online communication with their mentors, users can also arrange in-person meetings to get the most of their mentor’s experience and knowledge.
