MANCHESTER, UK (1 December 2021): Decision Intelligence (DI) company Peak today announced that it has been named by AWS as its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) APN Partner of the Year 2021 for the UK and Ireland.
Awarded by Darren Hardman, AWS General Manager UK&I, and presented to Peak’s Head of Business Development, Robert Viggers, the yearly award recognises leaders in the UK&I playing a key role helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS Cloud.
“We’re proud that the Peak platform is all-in on AWS, and being named AWS ISV APN Partner of the Year 2021 is a fantastic way to round out what has been a monumental year for Peak and the wider Decision Intelligence category. We are changing the way the world works with DI, and the support we receive from the AWS team has been invaluable as we scale and expand internationally,” said Robbie Vigers, head of business development at Peak.
EMEA Director Partner Success at AWS, Antonio Alonzo Lopez, commented on the award; “AWS Partners add value to customers across a wide range of industries around the world and are critical to their success. We are pleased to recognize a variety of partners through the APN Partner Awards EMEA 2021. I look forward to working together for a great 2022.”

The award comes at an exciting time for Peak, which recently announced that its platform will be available to businesses to build their own DI solutions from January.
A commercial application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), DI provides predictive insight and directs decision making. As a discipline, DI is outcome focussed, meaning Decision Intelligence technology must deliver a tangible return on investment (ROI) before it can be classed as DI. In its October IT Symposium,[1] Gartner listed Decision Intelligence as one of 12 top strategic technology trends for 2022. It expects that over a third of large organisations will be practicing DI within two years.
By opening up its platform to data science teams besides its own, Peak is making AI applications more widely accessible within a business, uniting technical and line-of-business teams on the same platform for the first time. Businesses looking to deploy DI will be able to simplify their technology stack with Peak; cleansing data, building, training and deploying AI solutions from one platform.
Founded in 2015, Peak has been all in on AWS since day one. It was one of the first members to join the AWS Machine Learning (ML) Competency program, launched in 2017, and was the first in EMEA to achieve both ML and Retail Competencies, demonstrating high technical capabilities in both. In 2019, Peak won the AWS Rising Star award in recognition of its work building solutions on AWS that embrace specialization and collaboration.
