The advantage of operating a business is that you can customize it to suit your needs. You can hire employees and buy materials to use. You can choose whether you want to be an exclusive retailer or sell your products on a national level. You can make your business bigger or smaller. You can do whatever you wish to make it more effective or less. You can even make it work in the other direction–to fail and then succeed and then fail again.
Of course, in the entrepreneurial world, you are always learning new things about the business, especially as your business grows. The more people use your products, the better you get at marketing and advertising. You learn about customer service and your products better, and you make more money.
How to start a small business can be done by anyone. It takes a little work, but it can be done. It takes more work to grow a large business. and a little less to grow a small business, too.
