UK ‘impact’ focused digital banking app and debit card, Novus, has beenshortlisted as a finalist in the ‘BOLDest Fintech’ category at this year’s BOLD Awards.

Created by Crowdsourcing Week and digital innovation platform H-FARM, the BOLD Awards celebrate companies, projects and individuals from all over the world that are actively leading the way for positive impact through the effective management of crowd-related projects or initiatives.

Followingan equally-weightedpublic vote and judging criteria consisting of level of impact, scalability, transparency and ‘H-factor’ (human and social), a ‘jury board’ ofmarket leaders, innovators and change-makers selected Novus as one of the top five fintech innovations– alongside four other nominees Zebedee, viafintech, Optherium Labs and Hokodo – to boost the financial health of businesses and advance financial inclusion.

Co-founder and CEO of Novus, Hristian Nedyalkov, explained: “Every time you ‘tap’ your Novus card, we contribute real-time impact points to the causes closest to your heart.Through rewarding our community of ‘conscious consumers’ with cashback, discounts and more when they shop from our ethical marketplace, we are encouraging our users to acknowledge that theytruly are making a difference in the world. They can then follow their impactas well as track and offset their carbon footprint based on their card activity.

“To have made it to the finals at the BOLD Awards is such an honour – especially so early on in our journey. We are extremely grateful that we are beingrecognised for what we are doingand cannot wait to continue on our mission of becoming the ‘super app’ for the growing conscious consumer segment.”

CEO of the BOLD Awards, Epi Ludvik, added: “We’re so proud of all the individuals and companies who will be joining us (and last year’s finalists) for our biggest ever BOLD Awards celebration yet!

“Since we first launched in 2018, there have been over 1,000 nominees and 200 finalists from over 80 countries across our 20 categories. The BOLD Awards have become well-known for celebrating projects in the digital economy that are leading the way for positive impact.”

Now in its third year, all BOLD Awards winners will be revealed at a unique awards ceremonyhosted by one of Europe’s most important innovation centres, H-FARM, in Venice, Italy on 22nd April 2022.

This award shortlisting follows an extremely successful period forNovus after itrecently smashed its £900,000 crowdfunding target within an hour of going live, whilst also becoming the first digital banking app in the UK to become a certified B Corporation™.

Created by five entrepreneurs with shared experience in fintech, private equity and app development, Novus is currently available to download from the app store.
