Protex AI, a rising start-up specialising in the use of AI-powered EHSQ technology, has appointed leading communications agency Houston to develop a PR strategy that will set the company at the forefront of tech-based solutions to manage safety and risk in the workplace.

Using the latest in AI and deep learning technology, Protex AI provides EHS teams with a sophisticated, proactive safety platform that identifies risk in the workplace before it becomes an issue, saving time, money, and most importantly, lives. Recently awarded the CogX award for Best AI Product in Transportation and Logistics, Protex AI is ready to launch its vision for AI-driven safety across Europe and the North America.

The company has already worked with major retailers including M&S, implementing the Protex AI platform in their warehouses and other various sites across Ireland and the UK. Set against the backdrop of increasingly more complex and fast-paced industrial facilities, the enhanced visibility provided by their technology helps reduce the risk of injury and ill-health in the workplace, estimated to cost over £16.2 billion each year in the UK alone.

Dan Hobbs, Protex AI, Co-Founder and CEO said: “We’re looking forward to working more closely with Houston as we look to grow our business in our core markets. Using AI powered technology, we’re helping enterprise EHS teams to gain real-time insight on areas of risk in their workplace and empower them to implement proactive initiatives that contribute to a safer work environment.

We strongly believe in our platform and its ability to provide a data-driven safety culture. AI technology has the potential to revolutionise how companies approach health and safety, and an effective PR strategy will be key to realising this future.”

Jonathan Bird, Houston, Director of Business Development & Marketing said: “Houston is excited to work with Protex AI to help shape their brand identity and streamline their vision of a safer workplace for all.

As an agency, we firmly believe that reputation matters and will be working closely with Protex AI to build industry awareness of the use of AI in EHS technology, building on our experience in this field.”
