Leeds-based student lettings firm Rooftop Living has grown from buying a single property to rent to students 35 years ago to running a multi-million-pound lettings empire. Since 2019, the company has been using Made Snappy’s 360 tours for its student properties.
Rooftop Living’s Director, Anjam Sheikh, explains:
“Rooftop Living has always been an avid supporter of proptech. Made Snappy seemed like the perfect partner to begin this journey with due to its property and tech background. Founder Mark was easily approachable and the solution on offer was cost-effective, covering everything we were looking for.”
By creating 360 tours, Rooftop Living was able to cut down on viewing times and assist international clients who wanted to secure their student accommodation in Leeds before arriving to start their studies. Creating the tours has been easy; so far, the Rooftop Living team has made nearly 200.

“The tours are fantastic for students who can view a house on their mobile device on the go,” continues Anjam. “They have also been useful during the pandemic, when we’ve not always been able to get into a property due to isolation and so forth.”
The Made Snappy 360 tours have enabled Rooftop Living to let properties faster and to cut out wasted viewings where the property wasn’t suitable for a prospective tenant. The only drawback, according to Anjam, is that the firm didn’t begin using them sooner!
“There are so many use cases for 360 tours,” comments Made Snappy’s Mark McCorrie. “We’re delighted that Rooftop Living has been enjoying the benefits of faster lettings and a reduction in wasted time, serving both domestic and overseas student renters.”
