The Wild Agency have been appointed to work on behalf of two companies showcasing the best of eco-disruptive products and events – namely My Green PodTHE ethical online marketplace for eco-products and services; and co-brand, The P.E.A. AwardsTHE UK’s number one Sustainability Awards. Both are headed up by power couple, Jarvis Smith and Katie Hill.”

Katie says, “At My Green Pod, we consider ourselves to be the ‘eco alternative to Amazon’. Not only do we plant trees for every purchase made via our site via TreeSisters, but we also ensure the 400 plus vendors in our carefully curated product list are fully vetted to reflect their sustainability credentials and ethical values. “She adds; “This careful vetting enables our customers to make ethical purchases and good swaps when they shop with us.  “

On one hand a proud eco-warrior, Jarvis is also a thought leader, entrepreneur, speaker and renowned online retail businessman, showcasing vendors such as Octopus Energy, Yeo Valley and Weleda via the My Green Pod Platform. His first magazine GREEN was published with National Geographic in 2008, which then moved to The Guardian in 2010, evolving into the My Green Pod magazine in 2013. Co-produced with Katie, it is now the world’s biggest ethical lifestyle magazine.  Jarvis and Katie also launched the P.E.A. (People Environment Achievement) Awards which, in its 12th year, is the UK’s leading sustainability awards and honours individuals and teams for their contribution towards sustainability.

Danielle Boutcher, Marketing Director of The Wild Agency says; “In the leadup to developing both brands, Jarvis’ career has spanned some remarkable avenues with an appearance on a TV show called ‘Dumped’ which featured 11 people living on a rubbish dump to highlight the important issue of waste.  That’s how committed to sustainability Jarvis is – he lived alongside actual rubbish!”

Jarvis says, “We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline, and we are delighted to be supported by The Wild Agency across our Marketing, PR and social media. We are especially excited to be utilising Agency’s in-house video production expertise! We recently asked The Agency to showcase one of our Hero Products (Equinox Kombucha) in a dynamic way; check out this awesome video!” He adds; “We live and breathe all things sustainable. Our current Marketing Campaign is all about product swaps; educating our consumers that there are always eco-alternatives to try.  That’s all we’re asking – for customers to just try something new and collectively make a real difference!”

He adds; “Please follow us on our socials for our monthly competitions.   This month you can win a Huskup – a reusable travel mug with a difference.  It’s made from rice husk – a by-product of rice harvesting that is usually incinerated rather than being repurposed. This means each Huskup protects the atmosphere from CO2 and sulphur dioxide before the first coffee is even poured. That’s simply planet-saving with your coffee; just imagine what other great things we can do for the Planet!”
