The acquisition will allow CS2 to continue to deliver innovative surveying and consultancy services to its clients
London law firm Howard Kennedy has acted on the disposal of the construction consultancy CS2 to RSK Group, a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business for an undisclosed sum.
The transaction will see CS2 continue to deliver innovative and customer-focused surveying and consultancy services to its clients. The acquisition was part of RSK’s strategic investment plans and will see CS2 become part of RSK’s Geosciences and Engineering division, with the whole workforce and brand retained.
CS2 provides a full range of professional, multi-discipline property and construction consultancy services for all market sectors, across the UK and around the world.
CS2’s Managing Director Andrew Mather, who will continue to lead the business, thanked Howard Kennedy for its work on the acquisition, and said that the team had “steered the ship and worked incredibly hard”.
Paul Glassberg, partner at Howard Kennedy who led the deal, said: “We were delighted to act on this transaction with two incredibly high-quality organisations coming together. We were particularly glad that the clients were so happy with the outcome.”
Throughout the acquisition, Paul Glassberg was supported by a full cross-departmental team which included Nisha Ladha, Charlotte Collard, Amanjyot Bahia, Leigh Sayliss, Anjali Raval, Alexandra Mizzi, Robert Lands, Rebecca Davison, Ko Eun Choi and Emily Clark.
